About the blog:
Old and On Your Left is the only podcast (at least that we know of) for and about masters triathletes. Curious about gear, training tips, or how other masters triathletes keep their personal, professional, and athletic lives in balance? That’s the kind of stuff we talk about here.
About your host:
Chuck Wilkins was a collegiate distance runner who finished college and dedicated himself to the finer points of building a career, sitting on couches, and drinking beer.
As his 40th birthday crept up on him, he felt unfit, heavy, and generally unhappy with the way things were going so he decided to start training again. Fast forward four years and countless miles. Chuck has run Boston, notched a great performance at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, and continues to waiver on the question of giving the full 140.6 a shot.
When he isn’t training or behind the microphone, Chuck works at a large law firm, is a cub scout leader and a hockey coach, and tries to keep his wife from figuring out that a serious drug habit might actually be cheaper than triathlon.
